Our services in the mining industry include above and below the ground surveying for both new and existing mines. These include bulky earthworks, blasting, quantities surveys and calculations, civil setting out, route location, shaft decline check survey, ground and underground conveyor belts.
The department is responsible for railway lines, roads, bridges and utility surveys. Services involved include survey setting out for earthworks and concrete works. In case variations, the company also provides on-site redesigning services for tie-ins to existing structures. We do as-built surveys.
Tinavo Engineering Surveyors are also specialists in setting out all works related to project constructions, pre-pour check surveys, drawings, quantities, quality control and quality assurance.
We have the facilities and capabilities to collect information through the use of drones, aerial surveys.
SURVEY EQUIPMENT HIRING
We are also in the business of renting out surveying equipment. Equipment include GPS RTK full kits, Drones, Total Stations, Electronic and Automatic Levels.
SURVEY SKILLS TRAINING
We do training of our own and are capable of training your own surveyors. Apart from academic knowledge gained through educational institutions, we feel obliged to ensure our and your surveyors are well-equipped in managing costs related to Mining, Engineering and Construction projects. Our staff undergo training occasionally relating cost minimisation, from feasibility studies, material estimation, time and labour costs, preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts, coordination of work effort and a range of legal and contractual issues to enhance value for money, whilst ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements and regulations.
COMPUTER-AIDED DRAWING AND DESIGN
We are well aware of technological developments in the industry. We have invested in software that facilitates an effective and high-quality level of service for our clients. Currently, the organisation is employing up-to-date Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) to create ground model surveys for designing, quantities calculations as well as the production of all kinds of drawings that might be required for the projects.
