Egoli Magic is a Johannesburg-based club of the BNL, and is based at Mandeville Indoor Sports Arena. The Club is an original Founder member of Premier Basketball in South Africa, and has been in operation since 1994. Central to the vision of Egoli Magic is the encouragement and development of youth in South Africa, through: health and education programmes for children, aimed to keep them in school (back to school campaigns like “education is smart”) and healthy (no drugs, no smoking, no obesity, AIDS prevention, etc) via the establishment of a Basketball Academy. the establishment of healthy, aspirational, and viable employment opportunities
